His race was at this track, but at a lower level and he in the race despite being bumped.

Roanoke Drive, on July 1, raced in a 5 furlongs $7,500 maiden claimer. He got bumped at the start of the race and ended up going wide. Still, he made up fantastic ground down the stretch. He finished in third just over one length off the lead. Frazier is going to ride him again and Roanoke Drive figures to be in the money. He’s already at 5-2 and could easily be bet down further.

I am looking for Icicle Nose to set the pace. He’s in the 5 spot at 7-2 and has shown early speed. In his last race on June 9 here, he set the pace and dueled for the lead. However, he gave way and dropped back some 3 lengths down the stretch for a fourth place finish. Looking over this field, he could be primed to make a run at it again. Half of the field should be playing catch up.
