1: A Sharper Bon – 6-year old gelding listed at 7-2 on the morning line. His last race was back on July 23 at this distance. He shot out like a rocket and brought home the bacon with a first place finish.

2: El Plebe – 5-2 on the morning line. He’s a 10-year-old gelding. His last race was twelve days ago. He battled, but couldn’t take the lead. He finished second.

3: Track Warrior – This 4-year-old gelding is 20-1 on the morning line. He last raced 7 days ago at this track in a $5,000 maiden race. He finished 7th and never showed anything.

4: Bitterroot Warrior – 5-1 on the morning line. He’s a 3-year-old gelding. His last race was on September 9. IT was a $2,500 claiming race for non-winners of 2 races. He was at the front early, but dropped. That race 870 yards. He’s built more for this race and should be a front-runner.

5: Love the Gold – 8-1 on the morning line. This horse is a 4-year-old filly. Her last race was on September 14 at this distance. In that $5,000 N2L, she had nothing. She’s up and down with her performances. I don’t expect to see much today.

6: Straw Fly Surprise – The favorite at 7-5 on the morning line. He’s a 6-year-old gelding and could get back down more. He’s constantly finishing in the money. He hasn’t raced in 2 ½ months though. But, that’s not a bad thing. His last similar layoff yielded a first place finish in a $5,000 claimer of similar length. He’s going to be tough to beat and that’s why he’s the favorite.
